BJ was born and raised in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He came to faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 17. Before going into vocational ministry, he was an auto mechanic and co-led a street evangelism ministry in Charlotte, North Carolina. He served for several years as a Pastor in Georgia before moving to Vermont in 2024. There he assumed the role of Teaching Elder at Reformed Bible Church in Clarendon Springs. In addition to his ministry at RBC, he serves as the Men’s Coordinator for First Step Pregnancy Clinic in Rutland, Vermont. BJ is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree from Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Jessica have been married since 2008.
